Monitoring nitrous bottle pressure is a must for monitoring nitrous oxide system pressure for optimum performance and safety. Nitrous oxide systems are tuned for peak performance at a particular pressure. If the pressure is too high or too low, the air fuel mixture will not be correct and cause poor or inconsistent performance. Generally the nitrous bottle is heated with a special heater blanket wrap causing the pressure to rise. If the pressure is too high, there is also potential for a bottle failure.

You will need to be aware of the optimum nitrous pressure for your system. If the nitrous pressure drops below the desired limits, refill the bottle. If the nitrous pressure rises above the safe limits, disconnect the bottle heater wrap.

Marshall Instruments 2-1/16" Nitrous Oxide gauges read from 0 to 1600 psi and use high-end accurate senders to keep nitrous oxide out of the cockpit. Our Dual scale and Midnight Series gauges are liquid filled to provide vibration resistant readings. Our Marshall series dry nitrous gauge is an economical alternative when vibration is not an issue. The nitrous gauges have a center back 1/8" NPT male fitting.
